Tottenham have dropped in form forward Son Heung-min to the bench for the clash against West Brom on Saturday – and fans have taken to Twitter to question why the attacker isn’t starting.

The 24-year-old South Korea international has been in red hot form in the new campaign, scoring five goals in six appearances for the club.

He started up front in the last clash against Manchester City, but following the international break with his national team and a clash against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League in midweek he has been rested for the encounter at the Hawthorns.

However, some fans have chosen to question the decision on social media, believing that it’s a risk with Son providing a large goal threat in the Tottenham side.

Here are a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Tottenham are currently sat in second place and one point behind league leaders Manchester City as they face a difficult match against Tony Pulis’ outfit.

Spurs could leapfrog Manchester City with a victory, with Pep Guardiola’s team lining up at home against Everton.

The north London side are looking to improve on their third place finish from last season, while also competing against Europe’s elite in the Champions League.

In other Tottenham team news, Harry Kane has revealed on Twitter that he is “feeling better everyday”.
