Heung-Min Son was named in the Tottenham team for their Premier League clash against Stoke on Saturday – and supporters took to Twitter to express their surprise.
Mauricio Pochettino included the midfielder in his starting XI to play Stoke, with Erik Lamela and new signing Moussa Sissoko left on the bench.
The 24-year-old joined in last year’s summer transfer window in a five-year deal for a reported fee of £22million from Bayer Leverkusen.

Hugo Lloris was also restored to the starting line up after he returned from an injury he sustained in the opening day draw against Everton.
Pochettino has handed Son the opportunity to stake his place in the team in a competitive squad.
However has often been restricted to substitute appearances as Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli And Lamela cemented their places for much of last season.
The club’s fans reacted on Twitter to the news that Son had been handed an opportunity from the start.
Here are a selection of the messages:
Son plays and I'll be looking for him to run at defence. We're sticking with an extremely defensive midfield too. https://t.co/0G3zPfsWTK

Son has scored eight goals and supplied five assists in his 40 appearances at White Hart Lane and predominately operates from the wing.
Spurs could have an eye on their first Champions League group game on Wednesday, which takes place at Wembley against French side Monaco.
Several supporters expected new signing Sissoko to play his first match for the North London club since his deadline-day move from Newcastle, but they will have to wait a little longer has he was named on the bench.
In other Tottenham team news, Harry Kane could be playing for his place against Stoke after his 10-game goal drought.
