Tottenham defender Kyle Walker has revealed Aston Villa’s Villa Park stadium to be his favourite away ground.

The club ran an ‘Away Days’ feature video on it’s official Twitter page and the England international was quizzed on a number of topics, including his favourite stadium away from White Hart Lane.

The 26-year-old named his former loan club’s home, stating that it was good to go there and see his old friends.

“Villa Park,” said the defender on the club’s official Twitter account. “See old friends, from where I used to play.”

Walker completed a move from Yorkshire side Sheffield United to Tottenham in 2009, alongside team-mate and fellow right-back Kyle Naugton.

Walker had loan spells at United, QPR and Aston Villa during his time in north London before establishing himself as a key part of the club’s defence.

He joined the Midlands side for the second half of the 2010-11 season, where he played in 18 encounters for the club and he still holds a connection with the now Championship team.

The pacey full-back is now preparing for an away clash at the Hawthorns, which see’s Tottenham take on West Brom on Saturday.

Spurs will be keen to continue their unbeaten run, while the Baggies will prove a difficult contest sat in ninth place.
