Dele Alli has named Mousa Dembele as Tottenham’s best midfielder.
The 29-year-old Belgium international plays a more reserved role to Alli in Mauricio Pochettino’s midfield.
However, the currently injured England international has named Dembele as the best at the club, while also identifying the qualities he brings to the team.
“In my opinion Dembele – I think he’s very good,” told Alli to Sky Sports, when asked who the best footballer, as quoted by the London Evening Standard.
“His feet are unbelievable. He’s so big and he shifts his body so easily.”
Dembele made the switch to White Hart Lane from Fulham in the summer of 2012 after Tottenham triggered his £15million release clause.
He has gone on to play in 166 fixtures for Spurs following his move four years a go and has established himself as a key part of the north London club’s successful midfield.
The experienced man is currently helping the north London club maintain their unbeaten record in the Premier League this season, which has seen them concede just six goals.
They will face West Ham at home after the international break, who are currently struggling in the table in 17th place.
