Tottenham and Arsenal are keen on a shock summer move for Liverpool youngster Jordon Ibe, according to a report.
The north London rivals are both monitoring the situation of the England Under-21 international ahead of the transfer window.
According to Squawka, Arsenal, Tottenham and Watford are the three clubs showing greatest interest in Ibe.
The winger has had a mixed season but is unlikely to leave Anfield permanently in the summer. It is said that Liverpool are more likely to allow Ibe to go out on a season-long loan in order to gain regular first-team experience.
It would rank as a major decision for the Merseysiders to allow Ibe to join one of the Premier League elite, with Arsenal and Spurs considered title rivals.
Football Insider revealed last month that the 20-year-old wiped clean his Twitter and Instagram accounts of any reference to Liverpool after he was dropped from the matchday squad to face Stoke on 10 April.
However, Ibe was subsequently restored to Liverpool’s starting line-up for recent Premier League matches against Bournemouth and Swansea, and he came on for an impressive ten minute cameo in the 4-0 rout of Everton a fortnight ago.
The winger was also introduced at half-time in the Europa League semi-final first leg against Villarreal last Thursday ahead of the likes of Daniel Sturridge and Christian Benteke.
Nevertheless, Ibe’s recent social media antics sparked a frenzy among Liverpool fans that he may pushed for a move away after he cleansed his Twitter and Instagram of any mention of his club and turned his profile pictures blank.
Ibe joined Liverpool from Wycombe as a 16-year-old in 2012 and had loan spells at Derby and Birmingham before breaking into the first-team at Anfield under Brendan Rodgers.
He has had a less successful second campaign but has still started 10 Premier League matches and made 39 appearances in total in all competitions.
But Ibe failed to demonstrate his satisfaction if his Twitter and Instagram accounts are anything to go by.
Liverpool face Villarreal in the second leg of their Europa League semi-final at Anfield on Thursday aiming to overturn a 1-0 deficit from the first leg in Spain last week.
