Tottenham have offered teenage striker Wilfried Kanga a contract after he quit PSG this month, according to a report.

The 18-year-old sensation has caught the eye of Europe’s biggest clubs this season after rising rapidly through the PSG youth ranks but has left the Ligue 1 champions after his agreement expired.

The Sun claim that Tottenham have moved to swoop for the teenager after being impressed with his performances in the UEFA Youth League, where Kanga scored a goal against Real Madrid in the competition’s semi-final.

PSG eventually lost out to Chelsea in the final but Kanga has been ear marked by Mauricio Pochettino and chairman Daniel Levy as a player who could potentially take the Premier League by storm next season.

Manchester United’s own 18-year-old Marcus Rashford exploded onto the scene in February when he scored a double on his senior debut in the Europa League against FC Midtjylland and has since gone on to be the surprise inclusion in England’s Euro 2016 squad.

It is reported Tottenham now believe they have found a similarly explosive player in Kanga and think he could go straight into the Spurs first team despite his tender age.

The France-born striker has already represented the Ivory Coast at Under-20 level and is rumoured to have also caught Benfica’s eye.

It is claimed that Tottenham are considered favourites to capture the young striker, who is also capable of operating as a right winger.

In other Tottenham transfer news, Fulham are trying to convince their young star to snub interest from Spurs and sign a new deal at the club.
