Championship TV pundit Adam Virgo has taken to Twitter to praise the performance of Leeds after the Whites registered another win, beating Burton 2-0 at Elland Road.
Leeds fans had to wait until the 83rd minute for the breakthrough goal, and it came from Chris Wood from the penalty spot after a foul on Souleymane Doukara.
Doukara made the game safe and secured the valuable three points in the 96th minute after Burton scrambled for an equaliser.
The win moves Garry Monk’s side up to ninth in the Championship, just a single point outside of the play-off places.
Adam Virgo, who works as a pundit for BT Sport and features on Channel 5’s Championship coverage, took to Twitter to send a message to Monk and his side.
He praised the team, saying it was good to see them in “fine form” and stated that he sees them as genuine contenders for a play-off spot.
