Rangers fans took to Twitter on Friday evening to express their disappointment after youngster Joe Dodoo was stretchered off against Kilmarnock. The silver lining was Joe Garner replacing him for his his debut.
Joe Dodoo lasted just 16 minutes in the Scottish Premiership match on Friday night before being forced off.
Dodoo, 19, was stretchered off in the first-half after appearing to land awkwardly and the medical team will have to assess how serious the damage is.
Rangers’ new signing Joe Garner replaced him in his competitive debut for the Scottish giants. The Rangers supporters recognise the injury as a big blow, but welcomed the introduction of 28-year-old Garner.

Joe Garner’s debut will be quicker than anticipated by the looks of it. Gutted for Dodoo, that looks like a dull one. Potentially serious.

Absolutely gutted for Joe Dodoo. Credit to him for cracking on after that fall earlier. Still – Joey Garner let’s see what you’ve got!

Dodoo, who can play as either the spearhead of the attack or in a flank role, joined Rangers this summer with little senior experience so far.
The attacker made one league appearance for Leicester last season, as they stunned the football world to lift the Premier League title.
The former England Under-18 international also starred for Claudio Ranieri’s side in the Capital One Cup, and notched an impressive hat-trick against Bury, the club he later joined in a one-month loan deal.
Rangers completed the singing of Garner last week as he made the switch from Preston North End, where he played 151 games and scored 57 goals.
Mark Warburton now has a great selection of forwards at the club with Dodoo and Garner supplementing an attack of Martyn Waghorn and Kenny Miller.
In other Rangers team news, their star player has backed the club’s new signing to score goals.
