Diego Costa did not receive a second yellow card in West Ham’s 2-1 defeat against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge – and fans have expressed their dissatisfaction with the decision.
The Spain international received an early booking in the game before making a rash tackle on Hammers goalkeeper Adrian that had supporters calling a for red card.
Costa has developed a reputation in recent years as Chelsea’s bad boy after a string of incidents involving several Premier League players have put the 27-year-old under the spot-light.
Pictured below is the incident involving the Chelsea forward and goalkeeper Adrian:
Costa received no further punishment for the tackle and former West Ham midfielder Trevor Sinclair took to social media to share his view of the incident.

Oh, and it was a definite second yellow for Costa moments earlier – perhaps the first really poor decision we've seen all weekend

Not only did Costa escape a red but he stayed on the pitch to score the winning goal with a drive from the edge of the box.
The striker will be hoping to learn from his lucky escape on Monday evening and go on to better the 16 goals and 11 assists he notched in all competitions last season.
