Michael Vorm has highlighted the five main qualities of new Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen.
Janssen moved to White Hart Lane in a £18.8million transfer from Dutch side AZ Alkmaar on Tuesday to add some more firepower to their frontline.
His new team-mate and compatriot Michel Vorm has linked up with the striker for Holland and has a great insight into how he operates up front:
Vorm told the Tottenham website: “He obviously knows where the goal is, he can shoot very well with both feet, he’s very strong with a good shot and he has an amazing work ethic. He’s a striker who can play with his back to goal, too.
“We’re talking about a young, hungry, talented Dutch international who has scored a lot of times already so I think he’s a very good signing.”
Janssen has already been touted as the new Ruud Van Nistelrooy and will link up with Harry Kane, who led the attack single-handedly last year.
The 21-year-old was the top scorer in the Dutch League last season with a virtual goal-a-game haul of 27 goals in 34 games.
The Holland spearhead has also scored three goals in five international appearances even though he only made his international bow in March. He scored the equaliser from the penalty spot in the recent friendly against England at Wembley and netted the opening goal in the 2-0 win over Austria earlier this month.
Mauricio Pochettino has now taken his summer spending beyond the £30million mark after signing midfield enforcer Victor Wanyama from Southampton for around £12million last month.
