Stewards have a pretty tough job.
They have to break-up fights in the crowd, get heckled for 90 minutes and make sure star players and pundits get to where they need to be on time.
Unfortunately it’s that last job that was proving somewhat of a challenge for one steward at the Manchester Derby this week.
Former United defender David May was hilariously not recognised by an Old Trafford steward and momentarily refused pitch-side entry while working for MUTV.

The clip is brilliantly voiced over by a fan at the ground who can’t believe why May is not being allowed entry to the Old Trafford pitch.
We know the steward is just doing his job, but this is ridiculous!
May even won the Champions League with the Reds in 1999 and now he’s not even recognised.
