England are rubbish at football – if you don’t know that by now then you’re beyond help.
Slovenia should have beaten us and just a few months ago Iceland did! Not the best time to be a Three Lions fan.
Things do seem bad, but despite what you might think there is a bit of hope for England.
The Under-21 team have been on fire recently and Chelsea’s academy starlet Tammy Abraham has been especially clinical this season.
The 19-year-old ace is currently on-loan at Bristol City and has already bagged 11 goals in 13 matches.
The youngster got the call-up to play for the Under-21 side on Tuesday, just hours before the first-team flopped against Slovenia, and scored twice – including this cheeky chip:

The youngsters ran out 5-0 winners in the end against Bosnia-Herzegovina and with finishing like that you can see why!
While many fans would be tempted to swap the whole Under-21 team for the England first-team at the moment, it would be brilliant to see this lad get a run-out at senior level.
You can’t say he doesn’t deserve it!
