Liverpool youngster Harry Wilson has scored a spectacular free-kick for the club’s Under-19s side.

The 19-year-old winger starred in a young Liverpool team which took on Portuguese giants Benfica on Thursday evening.

Wilson’s strike was the only goal in their 1-0 victory against Benfica in Dortmund.

The young starlet managed to fire in a free-kick from some distance, flying into the top corner and leaving the opposition goalkeeper helpless.

The Under-19s have travelled to Dortmund for a pre-season tournament which see’s them face hosts Borussia Dortmund, Cologne and Benfica.

The young attacker has recently signed a new contract with the the club.

The one-time capped Wales starlet spent five months on the sidelines last season after suffering a broken toe.

His injury absence as well as a disappointing loan spell with Crewe looked to have put paid to the youngster’s prospects at Anfield.

However, Liverpool have moved to quash this belief and the young starlet will now prepare for a pivotal 2016-17 campaign.

Wilson is able to play on either wing, or behind the striker, but he is arguably best at cutting in from his favoured left flank.

In other Liverpool team news, Reds youngster Sheyi Ojo has revealed that he is determined to follow in the footsteps of his former MK Dons team-mate Dele Alli.
