Arsene Wenger is set to gamble on the fitness of Arsenal stars Olivier Giroud, Mesut Ozil and Laurent Koscielny ahead of their meeting with the Premier League champions Leicester on Saturday.
The three internationals have only been back in training for two weeks following their Euro 2016 exertions, but could be fast-tracked into the starting XI after the team’s opening weekend 4-3 at home to Liverpool.
Wenger has admitted the trio are in contention to face Leicester although he admitted he might not play them.
“Maybe I will take a gamble on bringing them back early but I have 48 hours to decide,” said on Thursday morning, as quoted by the official Arsenal Twitter account.

The Gunners have been hampered by injuries throughout pre-season, with Per Mertesacker and Gabriel Paulista picking up long-term injuries,
Additionally, Aaron Ramsey and Alex Iwobi sustained injuries in the defeat against Liverpool, and Wenger admitted that the Wales midfielder will be out for a month until after the September international break.
With both Riyad Mahrez and Jamie Vardy opting to stay at The Fixes and sign contract extensions over a move to The Emirates, it should prove to be a compelling occasion.
The north London outfit were the only side to beat the champions Leicester both home and away last season and Wenger will hope that his side can replicate that victory at the King Power this Saturday.
