Arsenal will rest a number of first-team regulars for Tuesday’s FA Cup replay at Hull.

Football Insider sources understand that key men, including Mesut Ozil, Aaron Ramsey and possibly Alexis Sanchez, Hector Bellerin and Danny Welbeck will be given a breather against the Championship promotion hopefuls.

Arsene Wenger will ring the changes to the starting X1 as he keeps half an eye on a series of fixtures that will be pivotal to the outcome of the team’s season.

Ahead of the international break at the end of March, Arsenal have Premier League fixtures against West Brom and Everton either side of next week’s Champions League showdown against Barcelona.

Wenger could make up to seven changes to the team that came from behind on Saturday to draw 2-2 at Tottenham and end a run of three consecutive defeats.

David Ospina, Gabriel, Kieran Gibbs and Mohamed Elneny could be the only four players that keep their place for the trip to the Championship club.

Mathieu Flamini, Alex Iwobi and Calum Chambers are set to start, while Theo Walcott and Joel Campbell are likely to be handed attacking roles, with Olivier Giroud also in line for a recall after being on the substitute’s bench at White Hart Lane.

In other Arsenal team news, Laurent Koscielny has been ruled out of the Hall clash after failing to recover from a calf injury, which means Nacho Monreal could move across to fill in at centre-back and allow Per Mertesacker a rest.

Welbeck is likely not to be in the starting X1 despite his impressive showing at Tottenham as Wenger closely monitors his game time following the knee injury that sidelined him for 10 months.

Arsenal (possible): Ospina; Chambers, Gabriel, Monreal, Gibbs; Elneny, Flamini; Campbell, Iwobi, Walcott; Giroud.
