West Ham are battling it out with Borussia Dortmund for Besiktas playmaker Oguzhan Ozyakup, according to a report.

Slaven Bilic is already on the verge of completing a double raid of his former club after admitting his interest in Gokhan Tore and Atiba Hutchinson.

Turkish media outlet Milliyet now claim that West Ham are readying a bid for another of Besiktas’s star players, but will face competition from Dortmund.

Ozyakup scored ten goals and eight assists in all competitions from central midfield this season and is believed to be valued at £20million by his club, with two years left on his current contract.

Bilic is well acquainted with the 23-year-old having coached him during his time as manager at the Turkish club.

Napoli are also believed to be monitoring the playmaker’s situation, with all three clubs expected to keep tabs on his performance through-out Turkey’s Euro 2016 campaign.

Ozyakup spent four years Arsenal until leaving at the age of 20 and the Gunners stand to take 25 per cent of any transfer fee for the Turkey international.

In other West Ham news, Besiktas have given their blessing for at least one of their players to join the Hammers.
