Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez has revealed that he will look at any offers that are submitted for Holland international Daryl Janmaat.

Goal reported on Sunday that three clubs, including West Ham, are lining up moves for the right-back even though he still has four years to run on his St James’ Park deal.

The Evening Chronicle’s chief football writer Lee Ryder quoted Benitez via his Twitter account, during the Spaniard’s pre-match press conference for Tuesday’s EFL Cup tie against Cheltenham Town.

The Daily Mail claim Newcastle want at least £10million for the former Feyenoord defender, who joined the Magpies two years ago for around £5million.

The Hammers are in the market for a right-back, after makeshift defender Michail Antonio put in a stuttering performance against Chelsea in the Hammers’ opening Premier league game.

He played as a winger against Bournemouth on Sunday, scoring the winner in a 1-0 win. West Ham used youngster Sam Byram in the right-back position.

Benitez could allow Janmaat to leave and play at a higher level, after confirming the signing of versatile Champions League defender Jesus Gamez on a free transfer from Atletico Madrid.

The Holland international made 32 appearances for Newcastle in their doomed Premier League campaign, but did bag two goals and four assists.
