West Ham have hinted that Andre Ayew is in line for a return against Chelsea on Wednesday night.
The Hammers host their London rivals in the EFL Cup fourth-round and the 26-year-old could make a comeback after his groin injury on the opening day of the league season, also against Chelsea.
Ayew lasted just 35 minutes in his debut for the club before being substituted off injured and has had to watch on from the sidelines ever since.
West Ham’s official Twitter account have suggested that the attacker will return in some form tonight, by showing his full kit prepared for him in the dressing room.

Ayew moved to East London this summer for a club-record £20million after starring in a mediocre Swansea side last season.
The attacker made 35 appearances for the Welsh club in all competitions, scoring 12 goals and supplying five assists.
He was initially not expected to return from injury until January and has enjoyed a speedy recovery.
Ayew’s imminent return will come as a huge boost to West Ham fans, after target man Andy Carroll has been ruled out for a few weeks with a knee injury.
