Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been offered to West Ham in a growing sign he is heading for the Arsenal exit door, according to a report.
The Mirror claim that the Gunners have given their London rivals the opportunity to land the England midfielder in the summer.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has 24 international caps and is rated in the £30million bracket by Arsenal.
However, Oxlade-Chamberlain has struggled to fulfil his potential since joining the Gunners in 2011 in a £15million deal.
Now aged 22, the versatile midfielder has struggled with injuries during his time in north London and is currently out with a knee problem that could keep him out for the rest of the season.
A well-placed source has told Football Insider that Oxlade-Chamberlain’s camp have let it be known that he could leave as he enters the final two years of his contract amid strong interest from Manchester City as well as Manchester United and Liverpool.
Southampton have also been linked with the versatile midfielder, while ambitious West Ham are set to move to the Olympic Stadium next season and remain in the hunt for a shock top-four place.
Even when Oxlade-Chamberlain does regain fitness he will have to compete for a starting spot with the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil, Aaron Ramsey, Danny Welbeck, Theo Walcott, Santi Cazorla, Jack Wilshere and emerging star Alex Iwobi.
As revealed by Football Insider the latest Arsenal news is that up to 10 senior player could leave the club this summer as part of a major overhaul.
