Gokhan Tore is welcome to join West Ham this summer as long as the Londoners pay Besiktas’ asking price, says club board member Ahmet Urkmezgil.

It was reported on Sunday night that the Hammers were on the verge of signing Tore for £13million, and the club has now admitted they are ready to sell.

The 24-year-old has been in excellent form for his club this season with six goals and nine assists in all competitions and Urkmezgil says they are just waiting for the right offer.

“Gokhan is a great player and we will only sell him for the right price,” said Urkmezgil speaking to Turkish radio station Radyospor, as quoted by Turkish Football.

“West Ham is an option and we will not rule out a transfer.”

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic has already admitted Tore and Besiktas team mate Atiba Hutchinson are major targets this summer and is hopeful he can tie up a deal for his former players soon.

Bilic brought Tore to Besiktas when he was still manager initially on loan before signing the Turkey international permanently in 2014.

Tore will be hoping he can replicate the form he produced under Bilic last season when he scored nine goal and provided 11 assists in all competitions.

In other West Ham news, the Hammers have sealed the deal for one of La Liga’s best wingers.
