Arsenal must start forward Olivier Giroud on Wednesday night against Paris-Saint Germain.
The Gunners host the French side in the Champions League group stages and both teams have already qualified for the knockout rounds, but are tied together on 10 points.
The winner would be in pole position to top the group and the north London club must field their strongest team against PSG.
Giroud certainly deserves a recall to the starting XI after being restricted to bit-part roles this season.
The 30-year-old has made nine appearances this campaign and eight of them have come as a second-half substitute.
He has still managed four goals and two assists during that time, with the Frenchman scoring a late equaliser in the 1-1 draw against Manchester United on Saturday.
Arsenal were outplayed in the draw at Old Trafford and were missing the aerial presence of Giroud, but the striker scored an 89th minute header to prove how valuable he can be to the side.
Alexis Sanchez has given the Gunners a different dimension up front this season, but should return to his natural wide position and allow Giroud to spearhead the attack.
Giroud has scored an impressive 86 goals in just 196 games and deserves to lead the line, with Sanchez and Theo Walcott being able to offer good service from the wings.
Arsenal face Bournemouth in the Premier League on Sunday and their striker should be given the opportunity to earn his first league start of the season.
