Andre Wisdom has congratulated Trent Alexander-Arnold on Twitter after the youngster made his competitive debut for Liverpool on Tuesday evening.
The 23-year-old defender is currently on loan from the Reds in Austria with Red Bull Salzburg.
However, still keeping one eye on Jurgen Klopp’s side he sent a “well done message” to Alexander-Arnold on his personal Twitter account following the 2-1 victory in the EFL Cup against Tottenham.

The two players will have known each other in the Reds’ youth team, despite Wisdom being five years Alexander-Arnold’s elder.
Alexander-Arnold is a natural right-back, while Wisdom is more suited to a centre-back role, but can also cover on the right side of the back four.
Klopp opted to play the bright full-back in his more natural position against Tottenham and although he picked up an early booking, he impressed many spectators.
The youngster played 68 minutes in Tuesday evening’s tie before coming off for England international Nathaniel Clyne.
He was pivotal in helping to keep Spurs away from goal and it wasn’t until after Alexander-Arnold left the pitch that Vincent Janssen was able to slot home a penalty.
Fans will now be keen to see who they get next in the EFL Cup, with the draw set to be held following the Manchester derby on Wednesday evening.
In other Liverpool news, Graeme Souness believes this youngster will be a superstar.
