Danny Batth started in Wolves’ defence in the Saturday afternoon clash against Derby and fans were left disappointed with his display.
The 26-year-old youth graduate has maintained his place in the club’s back four, as well as his captaincy following the departure of Walter Zenga earlier in the month.
He played the full 90 minutes of the clash at Molineux, as his side suffered a 3-2 defeat against Steve McClaren’s team, as Helder Costa and David Edwards’ strikes were cancelled out by a Tom Ince double and Darren Bent finish
However, fans were not impressed with his display and while many in the stadium were booing his touches of the ball, he was also receiving the fans anger on social media.
Here are a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Batth has made 167 appearances for the club after breaking through the academy in 2010.
He has been a stalwart in the club’s defence and has also played in 16 encounters this season.
However, fans now believe that he is one of the main reasons for the club’s current poor form, as they sit in 19th place in the league table with the rest to play this afternoon.
If results go against the Midlands clubs they could fall into the relegation zone with Wigan three points behind with a better goal difference.
In other Wolves news, fans reacted on Twitter Ivan Cavaleiro’s inclusion in the line-up against Derby.
