Granit Xhaka has revealed morale within the Arsenal camp is good ahead of the Gunners’ North London derby against Tottenham.

The new signing is expected to return for Arsene Wenger’s side on Sunday after completing his three-match ban from English competitions, which saw him miss games against Sunderland, Reading and Middlesbrough.

Posting on his personal Instagram account, Xhaka revealed that hard work, fun during practice and team bonding is vital to the Gunners’ morale.

The 24-year-old has been suspended after receiving a straight red card against Premier League bogey team Swansea, as the Gunners staggered to a 3-2 win.

However, Xhaka made his first appearance following the red card during the week in the Champions League against Ludogorets.

Wenger’s side secured passage from the Champions League group stage for the 17th consecutive season, as Mesut Ozil secured an 88th-minute winner to win 3-2.

Xhaka and co. had gone down 2-0 during the first half, but the Switzerland international was on hand to sweep home the Gunners first during an impressive comeback that saw Olivier Giroud also score.

A win for Arsenal on Sunday against title challengers Tottenham could see the Gunners move to the top of the table, if Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City drop points against Middlesbrough on Saturday.
