Tony Xia has revealed on Twitter that Aston Villa are not interested in signing Crystal Palace midfielder Wilfried Zaha.
Zaha, 23, is expected to play a crucial role for Palace this season following the departure of winger Yannick Bolasie to Everton, but speculation has surfaced that he could be headed to Villa.
The outspoken Villa owner has responded on his personal Twitter account to suggestions that a fee had been agreed with Palace for Zaha with an emphatic response.
Xia claims that Villa are being used by other clubs to bargain a deal for the winger.

The Chinese tycoon purchased the Championship club in June for £75 million and has helped Roberto Di Matteo acquire six new players during the summer transfer window.
Palace midfielder Mile Jedinak was the latest signing for Di Matteo, with the 32-year-old making a switch from the Premier League to Championship last week.
Xia has revealed that Villa are working on five new deals before the window shuts but Zaha is not set to be one of those signings.
Zaha has made 223 appearances in all competitions for Palace, scoring 27 goals and supplying 39 assists.
The south-London club have endured a difficult star to the Premier League season, with consecutive 1-0 defeats to West Brom and Tottenham in their first two league games.
In other Aston Villa transfer news, MLS giants LA Galaxy have ruled out a move for the club’s out-of-favour defender.
