Justin Kluivert is so unhappy with Ajax after they tried to sell him to Tottenham that the 19-year-old wonderkid is refusing to put pen to paper on a new deal, which can only lead to one outcome.
The son of former Holland great Patrick Kluivert has openly pointed the finger at his current employees in an astonishing attack on the Eredivisie side.
As quoted in The Sun, the left winger said: “I’m not renewing my contract at Ajax. Too much has happened.
“The decreasing morale, lack of confidence, trying to sell me to Tottenham without me knowing.
“I heard about that at the last minute. That says nothing about Ajax, but about the people in the club.”
The 19-year-old is under contract to the Dutch giants until 2019 and has 11 goals to his name this season.
Football Insider verdict:
Despite the fact that Kluivert was previously linked with a move to Tottenham last year and Spurs are thought to be keen admirers of the youngster, from his comments it would seem as though he does not fancy a move to White Hart Lane. Tottenham might want to breathe a sigh of relief though as he has shown himself to be a bit of a hothead and public declarations such as the one he has made against Ajax would not be accepted under Mauricio Pochettino’s regime in North London. Poch has already shown in how Toby Alderweireld has been treated, that he does not look lightly upon those who don’t tow the line. Therefore Kluivert’s outburst would be a massive cause of concern for the Argentinian. We can’t see this being a move that would materialise now and with Manchester United also sniffing around, the Lillywhites would be best leaving him to their Premier League rivals to deal with.
