Franco Vazquez has revealed that he could join Tottenham or Chelsea this summer.

The 27-year-old Palermo star has revealed his desire to quit the Serie A club and a serious option is to play in the Premier League next season.

Vazquez was in fine form for his club in 2015-16 with eight goals and six assists in 36 Serie A appearances and admitted he is likely to leave even though two years remain on his contract.

The Daily Star claimed last month that Spurs were preparing a £10million offer for Vazquez, but that Palermo valued the player closer to the £20million mark after an excellent season.

"I will leave Palermo, my future will be 100 per cent far away from Sicily," Vazquez told Italian outlet Gazzetta Giallorossa.

"I can confirm the words of the club president, I have no preference between Italy and the Premier League, I want to consider all offers. My agent is taking care of my future.

"I do not know if my next team will be Tottenham or Chelsea. I just received an offer from West Brom that was rejected by Palermo."

Vazquez primarily operates as a roaming attacking midfielder, but has played up front for Palermo and on the wings at times this season.

Tottenham are looking to add quality and depth to squad that is expected to compete again for the Premier League title next season while making a return to the Champions League after five years.
