Former Ajax attacker Boban Lazic has been pictured wearing the Leeds training gear following his release from Dutch club FC Oss.
The Jupiler League outfit confirmed in May that the 23-year-old attacker had rejected a new contract following a successful season, and has since become a free agent.
He said that his “next flight” was from Brussels, which isn’t too far away from Oss, to Manchester before adding an update on Monday with a picture of himself in Leeds’ blue training gear.
The image was also shared by an FC Oss supporter on Twitter, who confirmed the player’s identity.

Lazic was in hot form for Oss last season as he scored four goals and supplied nine assists in 32 Juplier League appearances.
He is not the only player to have been found out on social media to be joining Leeds this summer as former Real Madrid striker Ousmane Siddiki was pictured penning a deal at Elland Road despite there being no official statement from the club.
Football Insider Verdict
It appears that Lazic is probably on trial with Leeds following his release from Oss. Rarely do you see trialists from vague leagues make the step up to a big English club, but the former Bosnia Under-21 international looks like he is definitely a prospect that is worth keeping an eye on. He was clinical for Oss last season and he perhaps sees himself as going on to better things after he rejected a contract extension. Leeds have already had a busy summer and they’ve made good additions to their squad, but Lazic would soon be too old to feature for their Under-23 squad so he may be worth avoiding. The Whites already have a host of wingers who do a similar role, so this would be a waste of money and resources if anything.
