6ft 3 colossus unleashed by Heck as he fights for job: Best possible Leeds XI v Norwich

Paul Heckingbottom is fighting for his job at Leeds and it’s time to show that he’s got the balls to stay and push his side towards promotion.

With just two games left it’s time to look to the future and start a team with youth running all the way through.

The latest youngster to be blooded should be 18-year-old Sam Dalby, who was signed from non-league outfit Leyton Orient in the January window for a fee of around £250,000.

The towering 6ft 3in forward has made a huge impact in the Under-23s, scoring at the rate of almost a goal a game and it’s time to see if he’s ready to step up.

Goals have been a huge problem for Leeds this season and with Heckingbottom likely to enter the transfer market, he needs to know how good his current options are.

Kemar Roofe should make way for Dalby, with Samu Saiz giving him every chance of goals behind him.

Tom Pearce, Paudie O’Connor and Bailey Peacock-Farrell are the rest of the proof that the future’s bright at Elland Road.

The other two changes are Adam Forshaw in midfield and Luke Ayling at right-back.

Heckingbottom announced that Ayling had been back in training for days and the right-back position has been a huge problem for Leeds since he underwent surgery in January.

Here is the team that will smash Norwich on Saturday and give Heckingbottom a chance of staying in his job:
