West Ham are close to agreeing a deal with Man United for the transfer of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, sources have told Football Insider.

Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed the Irons don’t want to pay the £15million price tag set for the full-back.

Talks are ongoing between the Premier League clubs as they try to negotiate an agreement, with West Ham looking for a compromise.

Sources claim that their valuations of the 26-year-old are not miles apart, and they could meet in the middle.

Man United want £15million for Wan-Bissaka, whereas the Hammers currently value him at around the £10million mark. An agreement is now likely to be found around the £12m mark.

West Ham are also monitoring other options outside of Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Even though Wan-Bissaka is high on West Ham’s transfer targets, the club are understood also to be looking at alternatives.

The negotiations between the Irons and Man United have dragged on for a while, and signing a right-back is a priority for the Hammers.

West Ham lost Ben Johnson at the start of summer after his contract expired and have been in the market for a right-back ever since.

Another reason why the Premier League side are considering other options is because Inter Milan also have an interest in Wan-Bissaka.
