Darren Bent has been left raving after Rhian Brewster secured a permanent move from Liverpool to Sheffield United.
The former Premier League striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider assistant editor Russell Edge, has lauded Blades boss Chris Wilder for taking a chance on the 20-year-old rather than signing an unproven foreign talent.
Liverpool confirmed on Friday that the young forward had sealed a permanent move to Bramall Lane after he made just four appearances during his time at Anfield.

Bent insists that the former Swansea City loanee was too good to be playing backup at Anfield and has heralded Wilder for showing faith in the youngster.
“He’s too good of a youngster to be sitting on someone’s bench not playing. Well played Chris Wilder,” Bent told Football Insider.
“I absolutely love it when managers go: ‘You know what, rather than taking a chance on a foreign player that no one has ever heard of, dip into the youngster’s market this year – he’s played in the Championship, done well – and really believe in him.’
“I think he’ll do really well this season. Fair play to him, it’s going to be tough, the step up is massive but Chris Wilder obviously really believes in him so I hope he does really well.”
Brewster has not made a single Premier League appearance to date, though he did score 10 goals in 20 league games for Swansea.
His last game for Liverpool came as a last-minute substitute in the Community Shield defeat to Arsenal in August.
