Adam Lallana: This is how Tottenham star can improve
By Danny Wright
Adam Lallana believes that Tottenham star Harry Kane is “one of the best players in the world” after the form he showed at the end of the Premier League season.
However the Liverpool midfielder still thinks that the 23-year-old can improve by gaining more experience.
Kane will lead the England team out as captain against Scotland in a World Cup qualifier at Hampden Park on Saturday in his first competitive match since scoring eight goals in the last three matches of the 2016/17 campaign.
He should earn his 18th cap against the Scots, but Lallana still thinks the best is yet to come from the striker.
“I think this season he’s demonstrated once again why he is one of the best players in the world,” said Lallana, as quoted by the Liverpool Echo.

“I think his form towards the end of the season was one of the best players in the world and he’s still only 23, so he’s still young and I’m sure he’s still got a lot of learning to do.
“But him being the captain tomorrow, if selected and I can play with him then it will be a great honour to walk out behind him.”
Kane’s goal scoring record with Tottenham over the past few seasons has been nothing short of phenomenal.
The Spurs academy product netted 35 times in 38 appearances across all competitions this term, but is yet to replicate that sort of form at international level with England.
In his 17 caps, Kane has scored just five goals since making his debut over two years ago.
He is yet to score against what most would class as a big nation in a competitive fixture with only Lithuania, San Marino and Switzerland conceding to him.
Kane has scored against Germany and Turkey, however both of those strikes came in friendly matches over a year ago.
