Leeds medical team need to stop Raphinha playing after Bielsa latest - pundit
Raphinha is playing through an injury and the Leeds United medical team need to pull him out of the firing line, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker suggested Leeds are overreliant on Raphinha as the rest of the team are misfiring.
The winger was substituted while struggling with an injury for the second game in a row against West Ham at the weekend.
He scored his side’s only goal before being replaced by Tyler Roberts after 69 minutes.
Against Newcastle United the week before he also scored before limping off just after the hour mark.
Marcelo Bielsa revealed in his post-West Ham press conference Raphinha was finding it difficult at Elland Road after injuring his hip against Newcastle.

“I feel that he probably wasn’t right to play the game [against West Ham],” Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“He went off against Newcastle United and he probably just wants to play.
“He needs the physio department to pull him out and maybe Leeds are so reliant on him they need to play with an injury.
“Daniel James, Jack Harrison and Rodrigo, you don’t see too many goals coming from them. He’s that important to the team that they’re playing them him in injured.
“Raphinha’s one of the best wingers in the league.”
The 24-year-old has already scored three times in six Premier League games so far this season.
The Brazilian scored six goals and provided nine assists in 30 top-flight games last term – his first campaign in England.
