Agbonlahor slams 'sulking' Kane after he's embarrassed by Liverpool star
Gabby Agbonlahor has slammed Harry Kane’s lack of energy but backed him to score for Tottenham against Arsenal.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England star insisted it is Kane’s work rate that will worry Tottenham fans more than his goal record.
The England star is yet to find the net for Spurs in the Premier League all season but he did score against Wolves in the Carabao Cup yesterday.
WhoScored revealed earlier this week Kane (10) has had fewer touches in the opposition penalty box in the Premier League than Joel Matip (11).
“Harry Kane’s is playing like a player who is trapped at the club,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“He doesn’t look like he’s happy at the club but I think he’ll find his best form.

“He will have seen all the criticism he has got on social media and in the press.
“As a player, you can see from Harry Kane, you can tell he will put it all to one side – his sulking and being trapped – and start scoring goals and getting assists sooner rather than later.
“It wouldn’t surprise me if he scores at the weekend, he always scores against Arsenal.
“I think Spurs fans are not bothered about him not scoring. It’s about showing the energy for a club that you love and he’s not showing that.”
As quoted by the Independent yesterday (September 22) Nuno Espirito Santo insisted it was the team’s fault that Kane had not started scoring.
Tottenham have only scored three times in their opening five Premier League games.
