Agent confirms PL interest in £60m-rated Euro ace as Liverpool circle - report
The agent of Liverpool transfer target and Napoli midfielder Jorginho has admitted that there is interest in his client and that discussions will take place in May, once the season has ended.
Joao Santos, the Serie A ace’s representative made the revelations to Sun Sport regarding his player, which will give all interested parties hope of striking a deal for the 26-year-old.
However, he did state that he had no firm offers from the Premier League, amid interest from Liverpool, Arsenal, Man United and Man City.
As quoted in The Sun, Santos said: “It’s normal for top European clubs to keep players of this type on their radars.
“We’re waiting for May. We hope Napoli can win the league. Then if Napoli wants to renew the contract, we can talk about it.
“The same if they want to sell Jorginho. There are no official and concrete proposals for him from the UK.”

The defensive midfielder is said to be available for £60m after a season where he has shone for Napoli and helped to guide them to the top of the league – albeit by one point.
Manchester City, Manchester United, and Arsenal are also amongst the list of teams interested in the midfielder, whose contract with Napoli run until 2020.
Football Insider verdict:
With the agent openly speaking about Jorginho’s future, it can only ramp up the suggestion that he will leave the club in the summer. The Reds will likely be in the hunt for Emre Can’s replacement, with the German ace almost certain to leave in the next couple of months. As there are so many parties interested, it’s likely that a bidding war will ensue, and if money is the player’s prerogative then depending on the weight of Manchester City’s desire for the player, they will have the financial muscle over all others. Jorginho would fill Can’s boots and alongside Naby Keita, Roberto Firminho, and Sadio Mane, the Reds could have a title-winning side on their hands.
