Serie A star reaches agreement with Liverpool - report

Roma’s Mohamed Salah has reached an agreement with Liverpool, according to a report.
Italian news outlet Sky Italia claims that the Serie A star flew to Liverpool for the talks, and will cost them around £35million.
It is understood that Roma are still awaiting a proposal from the Merseysiders, who look close to securing their first signing of the summer.
Salah, 24, has been in hot form in the Italian capital ever since he initially moved there on loan from Chelsea in 2015 before making his switch permanent a year later.
The rapid winger has scored a stunning 19 goals and supplied 15 assists in 41 appearances across all competitions for Roma as he helped them to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

He isn’t afraid of stepping up in the big games either as he scored twice in a fierce derby clash with Lazio and also played a starring role in beating Serie A champions Juventus 3-1 in May.
Salah, a 52-time Egypt international, barely got a chance at Chelsea and only made 13 Premier League appearances in his time in London.
Football Insider Verdict
It would be a massive way to start the transfer window for Liverpool to equal their previous record spend and bag a player of Salah’s quality. He’s gone from strength to strength since leaving Stamford Bridge and could become a star of many years to come on Merseyside. Jurgen Klopp needs to make big reinforcements to his side over the summer if they want to compete in the Champions League and challenge for domestic silverware. Roma are perhaps on a similar level to Liverpool in Italy and if he gets anywhere near the amount of goals and assists at Anfield as he did in Serie A, then this could well be the signing of the season.
