Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani has slammed fans who threw flares on the pitch in Saturday’s 3-0 hammering of Bristol City at Ashton Gate.
The Whites fans were sent into raptures as Samu Saiz scored a brace before Pierre-Michel Lasogga rounded off the win to end a three-game losing streak that threatened to derail their promotion bid just as it begun.
Now, Radrizzani has issued a stern reminder to the fans who took pyrotecnics into Ashton Gate that Leeds will now likely incur a financial penalty, which could be used for their special fundraising events.
“Thank you for the support today! Expect who threw the flares, club loose money that we could use for social initiatives as ‘One Day for Toby’,” said the Italian businessman on his personal Twitter account.
