Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani has slammed fans who threw flares on the pitch in Saturday's 3-0 hammering of Bristol City at Ashton Gate.

The Whites fans were sent into raptures as Samu Saiz scored a brace before Pierre-Michel Lasogga rounded off the win to end a three-game losing streak that threatened to derail their promotion bid just as it begun.

Now, Radrizzani has issued a stern reminder to the fans who took pyrotecnics into Ashton Gate that Leeds will now likely incur a financial penalty, which could be used for their special fundraising events.

"Thank you for the support today! Expect who threw the flares, club loose money that we could use for social initiatives as 'One Day for Toby'," said the Italian businessman on his personal Twitter account.

Leeds moved up to fourth spot in the Championship table after their win on Saturday and are now four points behind the top three and a potential spot in the automatic promotion places.

Although it's still early days, there have been a lot of positive vibes around the club since Radrizzani took full control in May.

Since then, Thomas Christiansen was made first-team manager before a massive overhaul of the squad which including the purchases of Saturday's heroes Saiz and Lasogga.

Next up for the Whites is a clash against Leicester in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.
