'All has been done' - Radrizzani speaks of agreement with Leeds boss Monk

By Harvey Byrne

Leeds co-owner Andrea Radrizzani has told of how the club’s January business was made with the full agreement of manager Garry Monk.

The Yorkshire giants made just one permanent transfer in the winter window with Pablo Hernandez agreeing to stay at the club beyond his loan move.

Meanwhile, wing duo Alfonso Pedraza and Modou Barrow made the switch to Yorkshire from both Villarreal and Swansea City respectively.

However, following on from January Leeds have been inconsistent and on Monday they dropped out of the top six for the first time since November following their 1-0 defeat against Wolves.

This understandably brought a lot of anger towards active social media user Radrizzani, who brought 50 per cent of the club at the start of January.

One fan even brought a response from the Italian businessman who claimed that he should have backed Monk more in the transfer market.

However, Radrizzani defended himself on his personal Twitter account by saying “all has been done in full agreement” with summer appointment Monk in reference to the previous window.

Leeds fans are also growing restless over Monk’s contract situation at the club which is set to run out in 2018 and many will be hoping Radrizzani soon reveals and agreement has been made on that front.

However, the club’s hierarchy maybe looking to see whether the team are playing top-flight football, or remaining in the Championship next season.
