Sky Sports’ Scottish football pundits Ian Crocker and Andy Walker have both offered predictions for the upcoming Celtic match against Partick Thistle at Firhill on Tuesday.
In their column on the Sky Sports website, both man have picked the same scoreline but differ on who the game’s most important player will be.
Ian Crocker has predicted a 3-1 victory for the Hoops, with his key player being James Forrest, who he claims is having a “season to remember” after scoring his 13th goal of the season against Brechin on Saturday.
Andy Walker has also predicted a 3-1 victory for the Bhoys, and his key player is the recently returned from injury Leigh Griffiths, who he claims can be the “main man again” if Moussa Dembele leaves Celtic in January.
The game at Firhill is the third meeting between the teams this season, with the Hoops winning the first two.
An Olivier Ntcham goal was enough to win all three points at Firhill in August, whilst goals from Stuart Armstrong and Kieran Tierney secured the point in a 2-0 win at Celtic Park in December.
Brendan Rodgers’ side go into the game with an eight point lead over nearest challengers Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership table, with Rangers a further three points behind.
In other Celtic news, Chris Davies has admitted that Moussa Dembele could leave the club this month
