Arsenal can respond to Tottenham by sealing deals for Gabriel Jesus and 25-year-old - expert
Arsenal can counteract Tottenham potentially signing Yves Bissouma and Richarlison by adding Gabriel Jesus and Youri Tielemans to their squad, according to Kevin Campbell.
The former Gunners and Everton striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, suggested Jesus, 25, and Tielemans, 25, would be better suited to Mikel Arteta’s side than Bissouma, 25, and Richarlison, 25.
According to CBS Sports’ Ben Jacobs (15 June), Arsenal are in advanced talks with Leicester City over a deal for Youri Tielemans.
The Times‘ Gary Jacob claimed 24 hours later (16 June) that the London club are also increasingly confident of sealing the near-£50million signing of Man City’s Jesus.
Football Insider understands Tottenham are on the brink of signing Bissouma from Brighton, a player heavily linked with a move to the Emirates in recent windows.
Antonio Conte’s side are also reportedly interested in Everton’s Richarlison.

When asked by Football Insider which club would get the better deal if all four deals completed, Campbell said: “Arsenal need more creativity in that midfield.
“Bissouma is a top player but he is not as creative as Tielemans, that is for sure.
“Tielemans adds goals, assists and quality. That is what Mikel Arteta needs in there.
“In regards to Jesus, he is a pressing forward. He is one of the best at pressing. To get an opportunity to be the main man is important for him.
“I don’t want to talk as though we’ve signed them. But I understand why the club are going down that route as opposed to Richarlison and Bissouma.
“Just having enough bodies and quality in the squad is very important. I understand why Jesus and Tielemans might be preferred by Arsenal.”
