Arsenal could 'nick' Raphinha from Leeds United after journalist's bid update - Campbell
Arsenal would be “nicking” Raphinha from Leeds United for £50million this summer, according to Kevin Campbell.
The former Gunners and Everton striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, is adamant the 25-year-old is worth at least “£60million”.
Raphinha is attracting interest from a number of clubs in Europe after two impressive campaigns at Elland Road.
According to The Athletic‘s David Ornstein (22 June), Arsenal have made an opening offer for the Brazil international.
However, the bid is said to be well below Leeds United’s valuation of the player, who has two years remaining on his current contract.
Raphinha is believed to favour a move to Barcelona, whom he has already agreed personal terms with.

When asked by Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs for his thoughts on Arsenal’s pursuit of the winger, Campbell said: “Raphinha is a great player.
“You just have to look at the calibre of club he has been linked with, Barcelona and even Liverpool at one stage.
“If Arsenal can sign him for around £50million we are nicking him. Let’s be honest, about £60million is probably right so anything below that you are doing well.
“Raphinha is young, direct, skilful, creative, can score… He would be a really good addition to this Arsenal side.”
Raphinha joined Leeds United from Stade Rennais in October 2020.
He has contributed 11 goals and three assists in 33 appearances across all competitions.
