Wenger said he would be fit, four days later Arsenal star misses Scandinavia tour

Arsenal are once again sweating over the fitness of Jack Wilshere after he was omitted from the club's two-match pre-season trip to Scandinavia.
Arsene Wenger had reassured fans last Sunday that the injury-prone midfielder would be fit for the tour.
But Arsenal's number 10 was absent from the squad for the trip, without any fitness update, to throw into considerable doubt his availability for the Premier League curtain-raiser against Liverpool on Sunday week.
The 24-year-old was a notable absentee from Arsenal's 3-1 win over Chivas in the US on Sunday, but Wenger had claimed Wilshere would be travelling to Scandinavia this Thursday with the squad.
"Jack has a slight problem with his knee," Wenger said, as quoted by the Mail. "We think it should not be very long. He should come back quickly, maybe next week.
"It's a slight patella problem but I think he should be with us on tour on Thursday."
The squad announcement sees a return to duty for Aaron Ramsey and Alexis Sanchez, who had been given a break after their international commitments over the summer respectively.
The Gunners travel Norway to face Viking FK in Norway on Friday night and then Manchester City in Gothenburg, Sweden on Sunday.
