Arsenal’s midfield anchormanFrancis Coquelin was named in the squad to face Swansea on Saturday afternoon and it was greeted with a positive reaction from Gunners’ fans.
Arsene Wenger named an unchanged side as he sticks with the side that beat Burnley 1-0 before the international break.
Coquelin and Lucas Perez missed the clash at Turf Moor after picking up injuries but their inclusion in the squad this weekend will come as a huge boost to Wenger and his team.
Coquelin hasn’t featured since the 3-0 victory over Chelsea at the end of September after picking up an injury but has been an important figure in the team in the last two seasons.
The midfielder adds stability to the Arsenal team and, given Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud’s absence, his return is certainly good news for Gunners’ fans.
Arsenal fans were excited to see his name included on the team sheet on Saturday afternoon.
