Arsenal fans urge club to sell 24-year-old after Bayern Munich display
By Will Butcher
Arsenal fans are desperate on Twitter to see their club sell midfielder Granit Xhaka just one season after bringing him to north London.
Xhaka, 24, has come under constant criticism since his £35million move from German outfit Borussia Monchengladbach, taking flack once again after his display against Bayern Munich.
The midfielder struggled to contain the likes of Xabi Alonso, Thiago and Arturo Vidal in the middle of the park, as Bayern secured a third successive 5-1 win against the Gunners.
Xhaka has been guilty of failing to control his temperament at times following two red cards, and fans are unwavering in the opinion that he has failed to live up to his expectations.
Arsenal fans took to Twitter to urge their club to sell the Switzerland international despite signing him just 12 months ago, with many keen to see a complete reshuffle in the summer.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Making 31 appearances in all competitions this season for the Gunners, Xhaka has received seven yellow cards and two reds, helping his side keep just 10 clean sheets.
Arsenal’s number 29 could feature in the middle of the park against non-league Lincoln City on Saturday in the quarter finals of the FA Cup.
