Thierry Henry took to Twitter on Sunday evening to reveal who he believes to be the best all-round player currently playing in the Premier League.

The Arsenal legend hailed Alexis Sanchez, but also gave credit to the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Eden Hazard and Harry Kane.

Henry said on his personal Twitter account in a series of tweets: “It’s hard to compare players whose attributes are different but in terms of the best all-around you cannot deny Sanchez in terms of his passing, pressure and goals.”

“But you have to give credit to Hazard, Kane, Dele Alli, Kevin De Bruyne, Romelu Lukaku, Sadio Mane, N’Golo Kante, Ibrahimovic and Diego Costa for their equally impressive contributions.”

The Sky Sports pundit’s claim can be backed up strongly when you look at Sanchez’s stats this season.

Although it has been tough for Arsenal lately, the former Barcelona man is joint second in the Premier League’s top goalscorer charts with 15 goals – only Lukaku has more with 16.

The Chilean also has eight assists this season, second only to De Bruyne and level with Matt Phillips and Christian Eriksen.

Notably, one man missing from Henry’s list of top players is Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero who hasn’t started for Pep Guardiola’s side for a whole month.
