Arsenal news: 'Immense' Bukayo Saka claim issued after 'big' update - pundit
Bukayo Saka has been “immense” for Arsenal this season and has a major role to play as they look to secure a top-four place.
That is the view of ex-Man City and England defender Danny Mills, speaking exclusively to Football Insider after Saka was declared fit for this weekend.
As quoted by the football.london today (28 April), Mikel Arteta revealed the 21-year-old will be available for the trip to West Ham on Sunday (1 May).
He limped off with 15 minutes to go of the Gunners’ 3-1 win over Man United last weekend (23 April) which made him a doubt for their next game.
Asked whether Saka has a big role to play if he stays fit, Mills told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “Definitely.
“The way that he’s bounced back from the Euros last year has been immense for such a young player.

“It was tough what he had to go through and the despicable abuse that he got.
“Where Arsenal sit now, two points ahead of Spurs. They play after Tottenham this weekend so it might be a real opportunity, depending on how Tottenham get on at Leicester, to extend that lead. Equally, they might be playing catch up a little bit.
“If the result goes their way and Tottenham only get a point, there’s an opportunity to go four points clear. That’s huge, absolutely huge.
“Equally if Tottenham win and go a point ahead with a better goal difference the pressure is on Arsenal. I think it’s going to be nip and tuck between those two between now and the end of the season.”
