Learning curve: Hector Bellerin joined the Arsenal academy at 16

By Emma Sanders

Hector Bellerin posted an amusing tweet, comparing himself to a picture of a cat which has gone viral and looks like the animal is kicking a football.

The Arsenal star often posts funny comments on Twitter and his latest one is just the same and mocks his own kicking technique.

The young full-back has been in excellent form for the Gunners so far this season, notching up 12 appearances, including nine league starts.

Bellerin has been a regular feature in the side and is an automatic starter at right-back for Arsene Wenger after enjoying some bright form in 2016-17.

The 21 year-old has already added a league assist to his account from the full-back position and has been involved at international level this season for Spain too.

Bellerin joined Arsenal as a youth player in 2012 and after spending a season on loan at Watford, has returned and built a name for himself at the Emirates.

In total, the Spaniard has now featured in 65 league games for Arsenal and he looks set to add even more by the end of the campaign.

In other Arsenal news, Bellerin’s on-loan teammate has posted a heart-felt message on Twitter following family tragedy.
