Arsenal tipped to pull off 'massive' Vlahovic signing this month after source's update today - pundit
Paddy Kenny insists the signing of Dusan Vlahovic will take Arsenal to “the next level”.
The former Leeds United stopper, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, predicts the striker will be able to replicate his incredible goalscoring form in the Premier League.
An Arsenal source has told Football Insider today that the club are in the strongest position to sign Vlahovic, 21, and a deal this month remains possible.
The striker has scored 19 goals in 23 total outings for Fiorentina this season.
On 5 October, Fiorentina released a statement confirming the striker would not sign a new contract with the club.
His current deal is set to expire in the summer of 2023 and Kenny insists signing Vlahivic would be “one hell of a statement”.

“He’s only 21, and for club and country, he has one in two, I mean, wow,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“It would be one hell of a statement. It would be a massive statement for them.
“Arsenal have really picked up this season and putting a striker like that in the team might take them to that next level.
“I think they have been looking a bit toothless in front of goal at times.
“They are missing that top-quality striker that the other big six teams have.
“If they get this guy, and I think they can, it would be a massive, massive signing for them.
“He looks deadly and if he’s scoring that many goals in Italy there is a good chance he can do it in England as well.”
Arsenal lie fifth in the Premier League.
They could jump into fourth place if they win their game in hand in West Ham.
