Arsenal told sell Lacazette and beat Tottenham to Martinez after Monday reveal - Campbell
Kevin Campbell would love Lautaro Martinez to snub Tottenham and sign for Arsenal this summer.
The Gunners icon, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, reacted to the latest on the Inter Milan striker’s future.
Today (9th August) Football Insider revealed Martinez has told friends he has his “heart set” on joining Tottenham.
Spurs have made a concerted move for £75million-valued Martinez as they face a major battle to keep hold of Harry Kane.
Eurosport’s Dean Jones, speaking on The Football Terrace podcast (3rd August), reported Martinez’s interest in moving to The Emirates this summer.
Martinez, 23, scored 19 goals and supplied 11 assists from 48 matches in all competitions last season.

Campbell would love Arsenal to sign Martinez as he would get fans on the edge of their seats.
“Martinez? Now you’re talking,” Campbell told Football Insider correspondent Dylan Childs.
“That’s a move that will get everyone on the edge of their seats and taking notice.
“He’s a very, very good striker and a natural goalscorer.
“Just when it looks like Aubameyang has gone off the boil, you get someone who’s full of goals.
“Aubameyang just hasn’t turned up in pre-season yet.
“If Martinez is coming in he will play, that does mean Lacazette will have to go.”
Inter Milan are already set to lose one striker this summer as this site revealed Romelu Lukaku is set for a medical at Chelsea today.
He returns to Chelsea after spending time with Everton, Manchester United and the Nerazzurri.
