Arsenal have moved closer to a windfall worth more than £300million following their victory over Burnley.

The Gunners beat the already-relegated Clarets 1-0 win on Monday (18 May), strengthening their lead to five points at the top of the Premier League table.

However, second-place Manchester City have a game in hand against Bournemouth on Tuesday (19 May) at the Vitality Stadium.

Mikel Arteta’s side will be crowned Premier League champions if Man City fail to win on the south coast, but a victory for the visitors will take the title race to the final day.

Arsenal face Crystal Palace on Sunday (24 May) at Selhurst Park, while Pep Guardiola’s side take on Aston Villa at the Etihad Stadium.

Why Arsenal are on course for £300m revenue boost

If Arsenal can secure their first Premier League title in 22 years, it will provide a healthy boost to the club’s financial situation.

Liverpool banked £175m worth of prize money after being crowned English champions last season, with the north London giants expected to receive a similar fee if they can get the job done this week.

Financial MetricValue
Revenue£691m
Losses£1.3m
Wages£347m

Meanwhile, Arteta’s side have also reached the Champions League final, where they will face holders PSG on 30 May at the Puskas Arena in Budapest.

Arsenal have earned around £122m in prize money following their exploits in the elite European club competition this season.

If they can get their hands on the trophy, that would add a further £5.6m to their total, while competing in the Super Cup will be worth an extra £3.5m.

That means the Gunners could earn around £306m in prize money if they can win both the Premier League and Champions League this season.

Why Arsenal are set to smash club-record revenue

Arsenal are already in a strong financial position after improving their revenues across the board in recent years at the Emirates.

Arteta’s side posted a new club-record revenue last season after their turnover surged from £616m in 2023-24 to £691m.

The Gunners are expected to smash that figure again following their exploits domestically and in Europe over the past few months.

It is understood Arsenal’s revenue will surpass £700m for 2025-26, with Liverpool posting the highest turnover at £703m last season.
